Common questions.
Do I need a switchboard upgrade?
Usually not. Modern chargers support load management which keeps you within your mains capacity. We check before quoting.
Can it charge from my solar only?
Yes. Ocular, Zappi and Fronius Wattpilot can be set to charge from excess solar only, free fuel from your roof.
7kW vs 22kW, which do I need?
For overnight home charging, 7kW is plenty (~45km/hr added). 22kW only matters with three-phase and fast top-up needs.
How long does an install take?
Most home installs are 3-5 hours. Three-phase or long runs can stretch to a full day.
Do you cover Burnie?
